WORKING ON THE MIRROR
is the approach of an open artists' collective to transpose a set of individual recording methods of cognitive processes into artistic realms.
Ensuing from the practices of the 'logbook' which – as a classical application – serves as the basis for defining and locating occurrences, the participating artists have been investigating their individual scopes of action over a period of 2 months. In the framework of a Public Generative Lab the artists' traces of monitoring are juxtaposed, thus, in a collaborative process rendering co-relating factors of contemporary artistic production visible.

WORKING ON THE MIRROR
ist der Versuch eines offenen Künstler_innenkollektivs, unterschiedliche Aufzeichnungsverfahren kognitiver Abläufe aus individuellen Identitäten in den künstlerischen Raum zu transponieren.
Ausgehend von Praktiken des 'Logbooks', das in seiner klassischen Entwicklung der Bestimmung und Verortung von Ereignissen dient, untersuchen die teilnehmenden Künstler_innen über einen Zeitraum
von zwei Monaten eigene Handlungsradien. Die Beobachtungsspuren der Beteiligten werden im Rahmen eines Public Generative Labs zusammengeführt, um so korrelierende Faktoren zeitgenössischer
künstlerischer Produktion in einem kollaborativen Prozess sichtbar zu machen.
